When I saw the first releases from the ASOS Curve Spring/Summer 2013 line, I was disappointed. I count on ASOS for well-crafted, unique pieces I can’t find anywhere else, and they seemingly hadn’t delivered. Acid washed denim cutoffs with lace trim? A T-shirt that reads “fashion geek”? An oversized paisley dress? What? Their clothes looked like thrift store rejects that someone randomly embellished (and not in a good way).
But the designers over at ASOS redeemed themselves with these looks. Get in my closet now!
When it comes to swimwear, Lane Bryant is surprisingly killing it with this white polka dot bikini and tankini.
The cups are fitted on both tops, and the bottom has a high waist for a vintage look. I would have never guessed pieces so bold were from Lane Bryant, which I find to be more often frumpy than fashionable. And all this when last summer was the first year blogs were abuzz about the fatkini, and it was a novelty and rarity for big babes at the time. Way to be on-trend, LB.
And while I’m on swimwear, Forever 21+ has this little number:
And I wouldn’t mind this shirt, either:
